Take a daily Centrum vitamin.

It's nasty, but I think that if you swish sourkraut juice around in your mouth, it will go away in a few days.

First stay away from eating too many sweets, if you want to buy a product, I reccomend-- Peroxyl by colgate, it helps me.

Try oragel or something like it. It's found anywhere you can get over the counter medication

I find that typical canker sores will also stop hurting within a day and resolve completely in a few days if one dries the area as best as possible and then applies dry baking soda (not baking powder) to the sore. Allow it to stay on the sore, as dry as possible for as long as you can tolerate it. This will commonly burn like hell..almost make you cry. Then the sore will commonly disappear soon. I don't know the medical basis of this treatment (and being a GP, that's a little embarrassing, but I imagine no-one really knows) but it has worked 100% without fail for at least 20 years for myself

rinse with peroxide

Stop using commercial toothpastes! Go to the Health Food store and get a natural one. It might take a bit to help, but my fiance would get like, 10 sores a month and they would stick around forever. since we switched toothpastes, he hasnt gotten them anymore and it's been almost a year. We also take a supplement called CoQ10. It does wonders for your mouth and gums.

If you don't mind the taste of licorice, try DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice root) you can pick it up at a health food store. It's intended to help with stomach ulcers (it helps rebuild the mucous lining of the stomach), but it works with the mouth as well. I've had great luck with it as it usually starts working within a day or so. Another recommendation that I've heard recently is an Oral-B product called Amosan Oral Wound Cleanser. Can't vouch for it since I haven't tried that one, but it might be worth looking into.
