Just confront him, in a nice way that is. Ask him to cut his toe nails some where where you don't have to walk on them. In fact I am surprised that it dosen't bother him to be walking on his own nails as well. Or if he refuses, sweep them up and spread them near his bed where he has to walk and let him have a taste of his own medicine.
