I don't remeber the product brand but I saw a program on tv that they used this special kind of flat iron to straigten this girs hair, (it was really curly) The iron is made of something that will not damage your hair. Copy/paste this url to read about this product I found.

what can i do to make my face clear?
If I were you, I would give up on the straight iron for a while. I would keep conditioning. You may be over conditioning. Your hair can stop producing its own natural oils because you are puting it in there for it. Then when you get your hair into a healthy way I would go to a professional and have it chemically straightened. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and that is what I would do. Hold up on the flat iron for a while and use one good conditioner until it feels better..Good luck dear and I hope this helped ya.how long does it take before birth control is out of your system?

Trim your ends. Then use a good leave in conditioner that is creamy. Then use a comb attachment on your blow dryer (you can buy at beauty supply store), and finish with a flat iron. A good one. One that costs at least $30, thry Remington Wet 2 Straight. You can find that at Bed Bath and Beyond, or Linens and Things.Source(s):
I own that flat iron and 7 people, including a a male co-worker who wanted one for his wife, asked me to get one for them.
i used to be same way. i use a flat iron straightener(ceramic with one inch width works best) OR use a straightening shampoo called BED HEAD CONTROL FREAK. trust me these things work great
I'm having really bad spasms in my left eye. How can I stop it.?
Conair sells flat iron I bought it from walmart. It cost $40 and goes up to 392 degrees. If you wash your hair often I suggest you stop it strips your hair of it's natural and much needed oils. Also try wrapping your hair at night while you sleep it will help train your hair to be less curly and more manageable I suggest some type of light hair lotion to repair your ends. How to prepare for a biathlon?
OK, Here is what you should do,*Go to the salon or buy it in the box and get your hair permenetly straightened.
*If not get your hair trimed either every 2 weeks or once a month
*Use a curling iron, and go streight down hair
*Use strengthing conditioner but not too much
*don't put hair spray or gel in hair befor streightening
*Streighten in layers start with thin layer at top of scalp
This should get you real far!

I have really curly hair too and i use a ceramic hair straightener and i works great and then after rub lotion on your hands and then rub it in your hair.It really helps moisturize.
i am wearing a goregous shell necklace and was just wondering,. what are shells made of?
Fix the damage by getting a good cut, then use Hot Olive Oil treatments, you can go to any Afro-American Salon for those, or purchase them in the Black Women of Beauty section of any drugstore. By applying moisturizing lotion-I use "Just for Me" (Black Children's hair lotion) to the ends of your hair, and parts of your dry scalp, you'll repair some damage. Then, I would suggest a Black hair relaxer, or you can have your hair relaxed at a local hair salon. If you've colored your hair before, buy one over the counter, it easy to do yourself-plus you save alot of money, or get a friend to help. "Pink-Relaxer" Brand, is well recognized. Yes, this works for White people's hair. Before blow drying, I would apply the "Just For Me" hair lotion to hair, and end with a flat iron. Knowing how much lotion to apply, will be trial and error, since these products are specifically for Afro-American's coarse hair, the amount you apply will differ for each hair texture.
After this process I would invest in buying a GOOD shampoo, one with SHEA as an ingredient, "Cantu" Shampoo & Conditioner is a very good example. There are many shampoos especially for chemically treated and relaxed hair.
If you color your hair, remember to first color your hair wait 2 weeks then 'relax' it. You only need to 'relax' the new growth of hair, this means you don't need to relax it every month, you can go as long as 5months. Remember your hair grows an inch every 8 weeks, so the frequency depends on your personal length.
Check my hair out in my Y360 profile, I straighten it, no one would know I have extremely curly and unruly hair. I am Hispanic, and have medium textured hair. I use the Black Hair products, and have never had a problem doing it myself.
Good Luck and prosper.;*!*;.
one an relaxer can be very damaging. find an really good flat iron and then wrap you hair at night before. I have really curly hair but i like it that way so at night i give my hair extra conditioner it my hair crack ( silky element leave in conditioner, take half out put into another jar with the first jar mix 1/2 carrot oil,1/2 olive oil, liquid leave in conditioner shake it up and apply to hair every night it does wonder for my hair it does break when i comb it and it continually grow I don't have to trim my hair as much because of the split ends. it wont hurt to try. and you might want to start over new get rid of the damege har it wont grow if you dont and put your hair in braids
Any suggestions on how to get rid of smelly feet?
Chi!Would you like too see what my brother just sent me in email about attitude?
maybe you should permenantly straighted it, in the salon. I would love straight hair too. My daughter and I have curly hair, and we get sick of it.did you ever have hernia surgery?
I think you need a new flat iron ( straighter) one that gets hot. Always make sure you let it get hot and put ION ( its a product you use b4 straightening) it costs 6 bucks at Sallys also you might want to use some sheen, sounds like you have course hair. these products work and always keep the ends trimmed and use a good condition after washing.Source(s):
personal expierence.
My hair is also very dry, and I do not get a pretty curl. It is more fuzz than anything. Everyone has different hair and equally as many answers, so I can only answer for what has and hasn't worked for mine. It sounds as if we have the same texture.
I would absolutely stay away from the Remington Wet to Straight. My friend and I bought one at the same time and we both have fried our hair with it. It is a very good iron and I almost cried when I got rid of it, but long term use will dry and damage your hair almost beyond help. My friend's hair has actually broken off. I think it may have to do more with the texture of one's hair than the iron itself. Mine is very coarse and it takes high heat to straigten. As far as flat irons go, buy one that is ceramic. I've used several flat irons with the metal looking plates and all have damaged my hair. All flat irons will damage your hair to some extent, but the ceramics are the lesser of evils. There is a flat iron (I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right) called a "Chi" (pronounced "Chee") that will straighten the most curly of hair. It is very pricey (about $100.00) but it is good. However, it too provides intense heat so use a good thermal protectant spray on your hair.
There is nothing on this earth that will heal a split end and it will only travel up the hair shaft until you have a mess. Cut them off now. I have a trim every two to three weeks. You will never have a pretty, straght look as long as you have split ends.
I also have damaged dry hair that I'm trying to get under control, and I asked a question earlier about the best conditioner to use. I was sleeping in a shower cap with the conditioner on overnight without realizing I was compounding my problem It seems as if the best deep conditioner is the Nexxus (which you can buy in drugstores now) and use under a blow dryer for twenty minutes. Walmart has a good table top dryer.
As for myself, I'm going to try to get my damaged hair under control, then I'm going for a chemical straightener. I know it's harmful to your hair, but it surely can't be worse than washing, blow drying, and using a flat iron everytime I wash!
