Yes. It is common with sever headaches. The eye is actually an extension of the brain, so when your head hurts, it can transmit easily to your eyes. It's not a symptom of anything worse than the headache though, so don't worry.

yes my dear I used to go throughout that painfully headache before, it used to take about four hours and it makes me loose habituates.i figure it out that the main reason is that the disorder of sleeping time it usually happens during weak end when I full a sleep .so try to sleep certain hours in a certain time ,
I have headaches that have caused me to feel nauseous, my eyes hurt, it's a pain more severe than an "average" headache. Someone else has already mentioned them. Migraines. There is a new medicine that has just come out that is supposed to help with migraines. If these kind of headaches continue, why not see your Dr. and see if they can tell you what's causing them. I know that people who suffer deeply with allergy problems get headaches that are very painful as well
