Anyone know any home remedies for chickenpox?

My son is 5 years old and has the onset of Chickenpox and I dont want it to get out of control. What can be done to lessen the problem?

Is masturbating every day excessive?

Answers:
All my 4 kids have had it and anti itching creams and lotions did not work for any of them. What seemed to work best, was to take off as much of their clothes as possible: the warmer/sweatier they were, the more pox they got. What worked wonders for my youngest daughter was this syrup she took on doctor's prescription and ever so slightly numbed the nerve ends and therefor made her less itchy (I'm really sorry, I can't remember the name.). It made her a bit sleepy too, which was actually not too bad: the more they sleep, the quicker the body gets better!
By the way, my doctor did not want me to rub anything on the chickenpox, lotion or cream: according to her it made the chance of (mild) infections bigger, with the result not only that the skin is more irritated and itchier, but also a much bigger chance of scars..

Why do people sneez?

Sorry to hear about your son suffing during the outbreak of chicken pox. Give him something hot to bring it out the chicken pox. Oatmeal baths. Rub him down with clear calamine lotion to help with the itching, keep him in the house so that is will not reverse and come back worst.
