Answers:
Depending on what part of the U.S. you live in, the cost per veneer will ranger between approx. $700 - $1500. insurance will not pay as the procedure is considered cosmetic. Also, be aware of the con.. veneers have a tendency to pop off and need to be recemented.

yes of course! It is called a quote.
In our office, each vaneer is $690. You will need one vaneer for each tooth involved - to close the space, you may need only two vaneers..However, If you want to straighten the remaining teeth around the front two, you will probably need more. Good luck! Always consult your dentist for the best advice concerning your dental health.

a dentist would give you a treatment plan out lining costs and how many visits..
Best to get a few opinions on it..prices can vary.and you want a dentist you can trust more importantly.
As for straightening them.. you would probably be steered to an orthodontist..
If so.. you may ask if you have a piece of skin that is attached to you gums and upper lip.. it's why most people have a gap..it's like a muscle and separates your front teeth every time you talk..it can be "sniped off" a bit tender to have done..but you won't have the front teeth separating again in the future
I have one and chickened out when they told me to do it.I had braces for 9 months..wore a retainer..and then lost it..now I have the space again.
Ask the Otho if he makes "Spring retainers". I had one made and it worked great as long as I wore it at night. Then it was also lost..haven't had a new one made due to a nasty latex allergy & not many dentist or orthos like to deal with it..latex isn't just found in exam gloves..many dental products have it in one form or another..

Yep. Any dentist can put on the Veneers. I was going to get some about 15 years ago and my dentist even offered to file them with my insurance as something else that the insurance would pay for like root canal and crown. That way, I would only have to pay 20% for Veneers. Needless to say, it made me feel a bit uncomfortable because that would be "insurance fraud" and I didn't want to be a part of breaking the law.

First of all the dentist has to ascertain the cause of the gap, also called a Midline-Diastema.It could be due to a small band of tissue between your gums, called a frenum, or due to habits such as "Tongue Thrusting", where the tongue pushes against the front teeth during swallowing.(it could also be due to habits such as thumb-sucking,but I'm sure you r not into it) and other causes too.
The treatment includes the surgical removal of the tissue(if it is due to the frenum),followed by cosmetic recontouring and buildup of the teeth to close the diastema by materials called"Composites". It can also be corrected by placing veneers/caps. The Cost of Surgery costs approx $500 -$ 1000, followed by the cost of veneers/caps costing between $1000-1500 for each tooth.

My Pastor got veneers on his two front teeth and it made them so huge he looks like he has horse teeth for the two front teeth. More noticable that the little gap he had and that gap made his smile unique. I think he made a mistake!
