hospital job for teen? please
help?
Does anyone know how or where I can ge a job at a hospital or something like it? I'm in phoenix, AZ and in my senior year of high school, 18 years old.
if not that does anyone have any other ideas for jobs that pay good, I'm only looking for a job until I go to college, just someting part time but cool!

The only thing I can think of offhand working in a hospital that wouldn't require any certification or training is in their sercurity department and being a dietary aide. Hospitals I have worked in over the yrs have always been looking for dietary aides. Where I have worked dietary aides would collect menus from patients, make sure they were filled out, do stuff in the kitchen preparing trays, bringing trays to the floors and passing them out, etc
Also working in their gift shop would be another idea.

Hospitals used to have teenage volunteers called "Candy Stripers" who helped the nursing staff care for patients. These were not paid positions, but gave you lots of practical exposure to what really goes on inside a hospital. The only other hospital job I can think of for an 18-year-old with no qualifications is swinging a mop.Repeat after me. "Would you like fries with that?"
