Not really, it is a 1 second stink and it goes away immediately, it is all in your mind . Just think about Jesus who die for our sins, that should give you a peace of mind during that 1 second shot. Good luck.

That depends on which type of shots one is getting.Shots are usaully not as bad as one would think though.
It really depends on the shot. Getting the shot itself doesn't really hurt much. Most people are just taught to be afraid, but in actuality it's less comfortable to get a throat culture, or even to get a scrape on your knee cleaned. Something about needles, children are just taught to fear though, and it stays with them throughout life.
The only shot that will hurt is a tetnis shot, and again, the shot itself isn't even a big deal, just a prick, a little sting and that's that. But with tetnis shots your arm is all sore for like 2 days, but it's dull and not really too bad, and only is needed every 10-15 years :)

I've had a lot of shots and blood draws, and fear needles, but know that it doesn't hurt and is never a big deal once I'm done with it.
