Your body stores the fat. The best way to lose weight and keep it off is to first eat healthy, and excersice. It takes alot of time and determination but you can do it. I lost 45 lbs in two weeks with going to the gym four 5 times a week and eating way way healthy.I think it takes a lot of discipline. It takes longer to lose the weight than the time it took you to gain it, which is why most people have such a difficult time with it. It's much easier keeping it off than losing it though and that's through personal experience.
