How do live with a person who has type2 dibetes?

Would you loose your sense of taste if you smoke too much?

Answers:
donot eat too much sweet infront of him (if male)
donot eat too much bulky food infront of him at one time
donot eat too much food rich in carbohydrates specially consisting of simple sugars
donot drink too much fruit in front of him
donot drink simple sugar (glucose, flavoured glucose)infront of him
try to be patient if he awakes two to three times in a night for peeing (it will not happen that often)but you have to be considerate.
keep some sweet along you always and give him some if he feels sweaty, lethargic , abnormally sleepy, anorexic or dizzy.
keeping glucometer along with ample gluco-strips is mandatory.
monthly serum fasting glucose level has to be done.(to see the efficasy of the drugs).
type 2 initially can be resolved just with diet and exercise, if not then drugs (which may be a single , or combinations of upto three drugs upto three times daily).

though sexually wont affect initially , therefore one has to play carefully especially with the mind (more psycologically)

in the end of if he is unable to control himself to type-II, then No doubt there will be need of Insulin injection lately, and living with that perosn is a little more tricker than living with type2 diabetes , though not difficult too.

They should tell you about that.

Ask a doctor and do some research

Learn some first aid

Blow drying?

Watch their sugar make sure that it doesnt get to high or too low, make sure that they always have their medicine,if at all possible make sure they eat well, nothing to sweet unless its sugarfree and nothing greasy. But that dosent mean you cant cook without grease or oils. My grandma is diabetic and she uses olive oil.

Also make sure they always go to their appointments. THere medicine can change all the time according to their health. And if they get sick make sure to check on them. They could get really bad within hours.

The same way you live with all other cranky, irritating people. You take it one day at a time and always have a back-up plan.

whats wrong with having ginger hair?

Much as you may love this person, you cannot be a food or medication cop. Part of having a chronic condition is taking responsibility for its management. If this person is able to do their own fingersticks and take meds, he/she must be responsible for that and for diet and foot care. If they are unable, then you must do it for them. You can best take care of him/her by learning as much as you can about this disease, its progression and prognosis. P.S. Do not use any spices, food additives or "miracle cures" (there is no cure) without consulting an Endocrinologist.
