can you get sun burnt while in a car, and the windows rolled up??

Question:

Answers:
Actually, when you really think, yes

As you probably know already, the sun's rays, depending on color and object, can be reflected or absorbed. White reflects sunlight and black absorbs it.
But, sunlight can also reflect off of certain objects too, like a mirror, for example. In your case, the windows serve as a mirror, so, they reflect sunlight, keeping the sun away from you. But, one thing, it doesn't block out UVs. So, you might not feel much sun, but slab some sunscreen on just incase.

Yes, Windows do not block UV rays. However, it's possible to avoid this if you have tinting put on your windows specifically made to block those rays (sort of like sunglasses), if my information is correct.

Yes, it actually makes it worse. Hope your sun burn clears up.

Yes, you could get burnt. The windows of the car doesn't block out UV, so it is better to put on some sunscreen before a long drive in the summer.

The only clothes I had brought with me to wear to church was a knee lenght skirt, so everyone was asking me what on earth happened to my leg. They laughed so hard and told me I was such a dumb blonde when i told them the story.
