and also that irritating ringtone makes u crazy when u want

i travel quite a bit by myself so i feel better knowing i have it with me just in case. its cheaper to have my cell then it is to have a home phone. i can write myself a note anytime i want, fits in pocket better than a pen and i don't have to worry about it leaking on me. i can take any kind of pics i want anytime..lol

I don't have a normal phone, so I just use my cell phone. I am also not at home that much, so people can easily get in touch with me this way.

Okay having a cell phone is for either safety purpose, to be contacted at anytime, b/c everyone else has one (to be what ppl call cool) and as for the ringtone ..gee buy a ringtone that you like or heck use the vibrate option or silence better yet turn it off unless you need it.

It's a must. IT's a trend. People who poorer than me carry it, why not me?

I DON'T!! When I'm out with friends having a good time I don't want to be bothered by people wanting to chat on the phone. I'd rather enjoy their company in-person. I have a phone in my home with an answering machine, so if people want to tell me something or want me to contact them they can leave a message. If they don't then what they wanted must not have been that important. I think most people who have cell phones are either suffering from low self-esteem and want to "fit in" with everyone else, or they are self-absorbed, arrogant jack-asses trying to impress people around them! It's ridiculus to see people in stores shopping while chattin' on the damn cell phone - you can usually hear their conversation two aisles away. And don't get me started on the jerks who talk on the phone while they're driving.what total ***$%#!..

It makes it easyer to reach me if something happens to my children at school. Its also easyer to call for help if my car breaks down. Car run out of gas? You wont see me walking for miles with a gas can :)
