Is it better to work out in the morning, afternoon, or evening? Why?

Question:

Answers:
Studies show that you will get the best workout between 2-4 PM. This is the time of day when you are strongest, body temp is optimal, etc. So if you are looking at things purely on a performance basis this is the best time to workout.

You may find though that working out early in the day helps you feel more energized throughout the day. If this is the feeling you want an early morning workout may be best. Same with working out after work. Some people find exercising after work helps them relieve stress. This may be the best for you too. Many find this not to be a good time to train since they are to energized after a workout.

So, in conclusion, if you care most about your performance, exercise in the middle of the afternoon or you can base your workout time on how you want to feel the rest of the day.

Morning, because you and your mind are fresh! It's obvious! Specially if you wake up at 6 in the morning, it'll be a GREAT DAY!

Morning. You will burn more fat and calories due to the fact that you fasted during sleep. Also, you shouldn't eat at least 2 hours before you go to sleep. Anything you do eat will be stored as fat instead of broke down and digested. This is because during REM Sleep, your body does nothing but rest and recuperate.

Morning. Fills you full of endorphines and gets you revved up for the day. Plus you come home, take a shower, your wife walks in.

What ever time of the day you have free to workout. Try to keep it consistant. I like to workout in the morning. When I get home from work, I'm too mentally out of it that I have no motivation to workout.

Just try to avoid working out close to bed time. It can interfer with your sleep.

i think it is better to work out at night because after you work out you are tired and this will make you sleep better.

Whatever time works best for you is the best time to workout. For me, it is usually the evening, because I have more free time and I'm less tired. You'll need to figure out what works best with your schedule and body.
