yes, you can fry your hair, many different ways to! a straightener, bleach, to much hair coloring and all of that crap! there is a hair product though that keeps moisture locked up tight in your hair so if you fry it, not much damage is done!

Cut of several thick locks of hair. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan. Throw in some garlic and onions. Once these are getting soft add the locks of hair and mix ingredients together. Continue gently cooking the onions, butter, garlic and hair unitl the hair becomes very soft. Serve locks of hair immediately while piping hot. Enjoy!
