a girl that age neednt diet but just control her diet. eat right and all the means . have a good breakfast without much fat & sweet ( no carbs ). a well balanced lunch, a very light dinner. ( no carbs at night )& exercise .
drink lots of water, and try to stay active, walking to get the mail counts, and try to cut out sodas (yeah tuff one!) but you would be surprised how much you loose when you just cut out sodas, try to cut out some fast food too. that would help, these small things can help shead extra pounds quick

Diets never work unless you enjoy it and keep it healthy. I believe in the 80 - 20 rule, and it has worked for me. I am very slender and weigh 9 stone, but most important of all - I feel energetic and healthy:
80% of the week I will eat 4 - 5 small meals a day, high in fibre and low in carbohydrates. I make a point of it to have at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, making smoothies is a fun way of doing this!
I walk to and from work, which helps in burning off the odd sweety and I stay away from alcohol, which contains huge amount of sugar which eventually turns into fat.
Deep fried food is not only fattening, but bad for your heart and circulatory system which helps rid your body of toxins, so stay sway. Eating grilled and oven cooked food makes a huge difference !
Just remember to do what you enjoy, experiment with different foods and get somebody to do the health journey with you, if it is not fun - it won't last.good luck and be healthy!
