Is there really such a thing as negative calories?

Question:
God, I hope so.

Answers:
Yes there are lots of foods with negative calories. They are considered negative calories because it takes more energy (calories) to digest these foods than are in them, therefore they aid in weight lost. A few of these foods are: broccoli, green cabbage, carrots, spinach, cucumbers, apples, tangerines, strawberries, mangos, oranges, grapefruit.etc. There are websites you can go to for a complete list. But yes.they do exist.

Other Answers:
Some things like celery take more energy to eat than they supply.

Nope. But the closest wd be diet and excercise.

Well, no. But it takes more calories to eat a stalk of celery that the celery itself has, so that might be kind of ike negative calories.

yeah

yes, well, sort of. It's like this, your body needs calories to do things, somethings take more calories than others, some take very few calories, like eating, celery, tho has so few calories that when you eat it, you use more calories eating it than what it has so for every stalk of celery you eat loose 3 calories, with no exercise, is that not neat? So it IS like negitive calories.

While there are things that are SIMILAR to negative calories, EVERYTHING has a caloric value. It's just that some food items such as celery have such a high water content that it's basically like eating nothing. What you have to remember as far as calories go, is that as long as you burn the same number as calories that you take in, you will be OK.
