how 2 lose weight/dieting?
Question:
Answers:
Eat alot of salads and raw vegi's. I work out 3 times a week, but all I do is run. And if you really, and I mean really, have the craving for something sweet, then eat it. Your body needs sugars to work too. Just not a lot. Take walks and run alot. You'll soon see the pounds melt away. But, honestly, I don't think that anyone needs to go on a diet because we are all beautiful in God's eyes. Stay strong hun.

Ok girl, here's the skinny on losing that weight without really "dieting". For one, people hear "diet" and they think that they have to totally change what they eat, and starve. No. However, my Mother always said, "everything in moderation". It's true. But if you want to really to lost the weight, you HAVE TO EXERCISE! Forget the 4-6 meals a day things. That's out. Eat 3 regular meals, with fresh veggies and fruits on hand incase of a snack attack. Gum works well too when you get the urge to put food in your mouth. Grandma's can be detrimental to your diet, but you won't hurt granny's feelings by eating only 1 or 2 perogies, just not 3 or 4.
Exercise routine is as follows:
Powerwalking.4-5 times per week. Get a walkman so you can keep your pace to the beat.
When you get home from walking, get your 10 lb, weights and do 3 sets of 10 bicep curls.
Sit ups (on an exercise ball) 3 sets of 25. (Guarantee a flat tummy, I know because I did it.)
Life is too short to deny yourself the sinful foods in life. Just don't eat excessively, and drink lots of water. If you don't like drinking water, then add a squirt of lemon or orange to it.

Well, speaking very generally with just a few things that I know of, if you want to "diet" then eat every 3 hours, basically around 5 small meals a day. It will keep you from being hungry and keep your metabolism up. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!! It helps to carry fat out of your body and cleanse the body of toxins. Don't eat anything after around 3 hours before you normally go to sleep, and if you crave something and need to snack try munching on carrots or beets, some kind of raw veggie. They're good for you and they'll hold you over until the next time you have an actual meal.
The reason they say to eat several small meals a day is so that you don't overeat from being very hungry when you eat a meal, so you can keep your sugar levels regulated, and to substain energy. But in reality, most people can not eat that many times a day due to work or school. I would suggest to keep a healthy snack handy, nibble on some yogart covered fruit or nuts, granola bars, or something else you may like that only takes a couple of minutes to eat. But take it with a grain of salt if you want, cause I am right in the same boat you are.
