do Oranges really burn up fat?

Oranges and grapefruit both have a natural chemical in them that works with your body to raise your matabilism and thus burn caleries

Other Answers:
Depends on how you look at it. Your body uses energy to digest food. Energy comes from mostly carbs and fat (ones already stored in your body), so eating burns fat. But it burns VERY LITTLE. Almost always you will eat more calories than you use to digest it. There are a couple of exceptions though, like cabbage (at least I think it's cabbage.. almost no calories). So if you want to lose weight, oranges aren't the way to go. They have more calories than you'll use to digest them. Stick with good old exercise most days of the week.

never heard of that in my life sweetie

No, but they are good for you. And they will help you lose fat if you use them, in combination with exercise, to replace snacks that are higher in fat and calories.
