ive always wondered how you get a birthmark??

Question:
why some are red ??or lighter than your skin color and some darker?? plz only serious answers hokoayyy

Answers:
Birthmark is what it suggests. It's where pressure was overly applied to a certain area when you were being pushed through the birth canal - the darker it is the more bruising happened. Really bad birthmarks are from the same thing, but an under skin infection has set in and damaged more cells.

Other Answers:
There are different types of birthmarks - pigmented, red or hemangioma but generally a birthmark is skin marking present at birth that ranges in color from brown or black to bluish or blue-gray. Birthmarks include cafe-au-lait spots, moles, and mongolian spots.
