how do i get my hair curly without a curling iron?

i have supper strait hair and its one length.HELP ME!

ok i bought this stuff at walgreens for like 20 bucks= its called warp sanp go and with a bit of moose or gel it works awesome. my hair is flat and long, never had a curl in its whole life.. i love this product

Curlers or go to a salon and get a permanent. I think those are your only options, except maybe putting your finger in a socket. LOL

i would try braiding it. I have really curly hair but my friends who have straight her braid theirs, either one or two braids, and leave it in for like a day and when you take them out, your hair will be curly. Its best to do it when your hair is wet.

With curlers (little round plastic thingies that you put in your hair after whashing and leave them there for quite a while).

Try hot rollers or regular rollers after shampooing with wash n' curl.

get long layers (it's eaiser to curl) and get velcro rollers- than sleep in them (after dousing them with just a little bit of hair spray) then take the out in the morning and put a little bit more hairspray on and you shoud be good.

Use paper and put it in your hair

First, do you have any wave at all to your hair? If so, get it layered. The length 'pulls' the curl down. As you style, scruch it while gently blowdrying with a diffuser.
If your hair has no natural curl whatsoever, then your only option is to use heat styling (rollers, iron etc) or get a perm.

A perm is your best bet and only go to someone who you trust. I tell you what, I have hair that lays in ringlets and I finally gave into not trying to straighten it so how about we just trade hair ! : )

after you wash it put it in several braids all over your head. when its dry.viola!

while your hair is still wet put a ton of gel in it and french braid it (i like doing 2 braids). once your hair is dry take out the braids

There is this one shampoo that u put it in and rub it through all of your hair really good and when u dry, it look like u just got a perm! i am 99% sure it is gernia futis (i think that's how u spell it) hope it helps!

OK, braiding is good if you want wave, but if you want curl, there are much better options. using hot rollers is another. There are a bunch of new techniques for thermal texturizing. It's a twist off of perming, but with better results. Think this loose beautiful waves like mariah, shakira, Sarah Jessica Parker etc. Not like your grandma's perms whatsoever!
