explain this to me?

Question:
what does it mean in "all is far in love and war?

Answers:
It's ironic because in war, you're justified to kill by any means you can since your enemy is trying to kill you as well.

Comparing love to war likens relationships to existing as mutual enemies trying to kill one another before the other succeeds, which is actually the opposite of love. But not really, you know?

Other Answers:
All is FAIR in love and war.

It means you can do whatever it takes to win.

It is all is FAIR in love & war. it means when involed in love or war, there are no rules. What ever happens, happens. There is no right or wrong. Only the strongest survive, etc. All is FAIR game.
