Is it bad to Scrub your face??

Question:
A doctors fried told her that, and I don't believe it.

Answers:
no it usually exfoliates it and takes all the dead skin off. but if you do it to much you will have scratches

Other Answers:
It's not bad to use an exfoliant with gentle - very gentle - scrubbing action.

It is bad to scrub your face so hard you take a layer or two off and/or move your skin around roughly. That's abusive. Like abusing your skin by going out in the sun without sunblock, you'll pay for it later.

Using a mild scrub on your face won't hurt if you don't do it very frequently. Just make sure that you're not scrubbing too hard or using a material that will be too irritating for your face (you'll know if it's too rough if your face gets flushed afterwards).

Origins has a great daily scrub out called Never a Dull Moment. It has fine granules that you can barely feel but smells great and still leaves you feeling cleaner. I can use this every day without worrying about my skin.

However, there are some times that I break out, or feel like my face gets oily very soon after I've washed it (especially during the Spring and Summer). For those times, I use Clinique's Exfoliating Scrub which is a little more intense, so I don't use it more than twice a week.

Its good, when u clean ur fave. but scrub, samething.

no it isnt, but it isnt good if you scrub it way too hard, this damages the skin
