Sometimes it's better for hygiene and sometimes it's for religion

From what i understand this has come to be quite a controvercy in the delievery room and in baby magazines across the nation. Some want to argue that its mean to do it to a newborn and that it hurts them for no reason, that its inhumane, that theres no medical reasoning behind it. But on the other hand, its been done for centuries, they thought it helped to reduce the ammount of bacteria that could be trapped between the foreskin and the tip of the penis, i think the reason why its done for religious reasons was to show that your marked into a certin religion, much like how hindu women have a mark on their forehead. Ive also heard that it was done back in the day because they thought it would reduce the ammount of m@sterb@tion done by the child when the child became a man, which is considered a sin by differnt religions (although i cant remember what religion cercumsised for that reason, i want to think Jewish though im not 100% sure and i dont want to offend a Jew) But now i think it all comes down to personal choice. I personally cercumcised both of my boys. I thought that its been done for ages, and even talked about in the bible. I didnt want my son to think he was differnt then daddy, cause daddys cercumsised. Not only that But when your son isnt cercumsised you have to pull back the foreskin and clean in there, and i can only imagine how hard that would be because to a baby boy that is the most ticklish spot on their body, next to impossible to properly clean it. Those are my reasons but i think it comes down to what the parents want in the long run :P

I think it is for hygine reasons
