Go to a salon and ask the people that work there.

have you tried putting water in your hair?

try using products that will restore moisture, lost to weather, health connditions etc.For extremely dry hair I would suggest Redken butter treat,it will ork miracles for you, also give it an oil treatment regularly, put warm olive oil in your hair and wash after 20 inutes

Try getting a conditioning treatment from the salon. It will take a few of these to get to back to healthy but it will help.

paul mitchell, super charged moisture conditioner, wash you hair as usual, then towel dry, add the conditioner, put your towel on your head, wait 30 minutes, then rinse, do this once a week until your hair is healthy, then just once every two weeks for 5 minutes in the shower to maintain it

get a conditioning balm with silicone in it

I have the same problem. Have you tried putting a moisturizing treatment in and leaving it overnight? I do that once a week and it seems to help a bit.

detox your hair for a month,i mean all the things we do and put on our hair,it would have to be sick.make it well again.use a herble shampoo if its gentle.promise not to blow dry,color,sculpt..etc.use some green tea,no sugar as a rinse,no brush, just wet comeb.baby shampoo is a good inbetween shampoo.

It sounds like you have really dry hair, there's an easy hair treatment that I use whenever mine gets too dry. This is a slight variation given to me by a friend of mine, I haven't tried it yet but it sounds actually better then mine. All you do is:
1. Mash an avocado with jojoba oil (if you dont want to go out and buy this olive oil works just fine) and an egg.
2. Coat your hair and scalp with it making sure everything is covered. If your hair isn't wet it will soak up more of the moisture.
3. Put a shower cap on and leave it to sit for at least 15 minutes. The longer it sits the better.
4. Shampoo and condition your hair making sure to get out all the gunk.
Good luck, I hope this helps!

Eat gelatin, be it in the form of fruit flavored jello or dissolve tasteless gelatin in your soup. It will solve your problem from the inside out. Also good for nails!
