Yes it can help you lose weight. First because a lot of people think they are hungry when they are really thirsty. Second you said you survive more on "juices and such" which equals calories, where as water is no calories so you will save yourself on that front as well.

The reason that it is always said that if you drink water all the time you'll lose more weight is because your body thinks that it is hungry when you are dehydrated. Therefore, if you keep the water coming you won't have that "fake" hunger hit you and you'll eat less. Hope I helped :o)
Obviously you drink water to [help] lose weight. But that doesn't mean you can EAT unhealthy things with it, and still lose the pounds.
I believe it is. A substitute teacher I once had drank a lot of water a day. He always had a water bottle or something of the sort on him. After a while later, I had him as a temp. teacher again and he lost a lot of weight.
yes it does. it fills you up, and for some reason drinking water makes you loose water weight. you would think that the more you drank the more you would retain, but its exactally the other way around. it also helps flush toxins out of the body, as well as fat.
Just drinking water, will not make You lose weight. In fact if You do not drink water regularly, Your body will hold on to the water, thinking it is not going to get more, which will make You weigh more. If You drink the water with a sensible daily intake of food, and reduce Your calories,(not drastically), then the water will be beneficial to Your endeavor. When We loose weight, it has to be eliminated from Your body, and that is where the water intake will help You. Look at the food pyramid on the side of most boxes of food, that will let You know what Your body needs. Servings of Carbs should be the size of Your fist, and protein the size of Your palm, or a card, from a deck of cards.

thus what one can do to avoid it is drink a lot of water in the morning(while empty stomach).
now if you dont like water(even i dont like).
TRY MIXING SOME FLAVOUR TO IT LIKE ORANGE etc.multivitamin one.
now what you can do is drink 2 glasses of water in the morning. 1 plain and other mixed.
then, drink 1 glass of water 30 min before lunch.
then drink 1 glass of water 45min after lunch.
then, in the evening when you walk or workout,
drink water 15 minuts after your workout, that too 2 glasses
same way, 1 mixed 1 plain.
then in the night 1 glass before dinner.
in between drink whenever u feel thirsty or spiced up.
well that will make ur water intake upto 2 ltrs or more.
and THATS DONE.
NOW U R NOT DEHYDRATED. well juices also work but too much of that is also junk. in juices avoid pineapple(fat increaser). more than 1 glass of juice a day is junk.
