In order to get your insuracne company to pay for any of it, you need to have your doctor recommend it. The odds are you will definitely need a second opinion. From beginning to end it took my mother aprroximately one year to have he procedure done. There are numerous tests that need to be done, like I Said the recommendation from your doctors. You then need to be referred to a specialist (in your network), go to that doctor and see if it is recommended by the Physician. It is not easy to have done. If you are over 100lbs overweight, have a BMI of over 40 and a few other issues, are considered when seeking Gastric Bypass. I hope I helped a little.
