is it normal to have a sharp pain in the wrist after a fracture and difficulties rotating my hand up and down?

Question:
It was a Colles fracture and a styloid fracture 4 months ago- went to PT and my strength is pretty much fully back now, there is just sharp pain on the outside of my wrist and can't turn my hand so that my palm is facing up like it used to

Answers:
No it isn't strictly normal but equally is something that does occaionally occur. You should go back and consult your doctor and ask for their advise as to the best route forwards. Possible repeat xrays or more physio or even acupuncture. Whatever you decide make sure you don't just sit it out, if I had done that i would have lost the use of my left arm!
