I am a mother of a 13 year old girl. I teach her that healthy eating is the most important "diet" there is! I have taught her about making healthier choices in food. I have also told her if you want a chocolate bar, so be it, just don't eat 15 of them. Eat the "junk food" in moderation. Healthy eating is better for your body weight, your skin, and your overall energy. At 13 you are still growing and your body needs the proper nutrition. Eat healthy, lots of veggies, fruits, water, grains low fat meats. Basically the food guide chart.

If you are looking to lose weight, then cut back on the sweets, sugars etc.and start to be more active. Take up a sport or just walk,run or bike. Proper food and exercise is the ONLY healthy way to lose weight.

No. Dieting altogether isn't really good. Cuting out snacks and things, maybe. But at least until 20 dieting is bad.

diet for losing weight & gain energy lower than need is not good but good life&nutrition style and healthy diet is well surely.
