Who thinks like myself, that Pyschologists should keep their opinions and their drugs to themselves?
Question:
Answers:
Yes! I do!
Both psychologists and psychiatrists are on the System. Find out what it takes to get on the System and to get ahead in both Psychology and Psychiatry. I suspect that my advice and warning pertains to Educational Psychoogy as well. I believe they are expected to "sacrifice" someone to the System in some major way.
The System seems to work according to the principle, or lack of principle of the Ying and the Yang (Western interpretation). The Ying and Yang has been used metaphorically to demonstrate the notion that good and evil must be maintained in perfect amounts and in perfect proportion. "Into everything that is bad you have to add a little bit of good, and into everything that is good (white) youhave to add a little bit of bad". That rational is how I heard it explained to someone. I do not agree with it at all! People, for example, cannot go forward in this manner. Civilization in general cannot survive this wasy either. The System is controlled by "Stonecutters" (Freemasons and groups with similar related practices). They make things happen.

that's what people said about medical doctors not so long ago.
everybody thinks everybody else is out to get them.
I agree that they are a somewhat self perpetuating parasite.
No one is ever "Cured" or finished.
They have no definitive answer for squat.
They can find ( or create ) some underlying cause for every single thing you do or say.
Some will say they have cured violent, mental patients and the patient is released!
They should be required to have the patient live with them for a year or so, see how often they claim to have cured a murderer or paedophile!
A psychologist does not write prescriptions for drugs, they only do therapy. Phsychiatrist are the ones who prescribe medications.
with you all the way.
unless it's a shrink that helps people with habits. but if it's someone who trys to get into the human phsyce, i think that's wrong. that's god's job not some person's
Whatever Tom Cruise.and by the way, psychologists do not dish out the drugs..that would be a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are M.D.s..psychologists have PhDs..big difference there as PhDs cannot administer drugs.
Yes, some psychiatrists are quick to push drugs on people, but often the problems arise from chemical imbalances within the body..things that must be brought in check by medication. It's similar to heart problems or certain infections: things that won't go away without meds.
I agree with tmills883
Only Psychiatrists can prescribe medication not Psychologists. You have a right to your beliefs and I believe you or someone you know must of had a bad experience with a Psychologist for you to feel this way. There are many people who have had good experiences in therapy. It is unfair to label all Psychologists as the people who cannot do any good and only contribute to the degradation of society because they supposedly use mind control and emotion altering drugs.
I think they can help people.
I can't disagree with you more! nutshell-people that need medicine such as myself usually take it for a reason and my medicine has literally saved my life. before i was chopping myself up and down my body my arms would be slashed 30 times from shoulder to hand and my legs would have knive marks and stab wounds all over them then it happened i hit a vein and blood shot all over my room and i almost died until i got help and medicine and it's been two yrs and i haven't touched my self with a knife once. also, i don't and didn't drink or do street drugs those are the people you need to condem not doctors. SO GET EDUCATED MAN AND STOP THE IGNORANCE!
Some psychologists should keep their opinions to themselves--as some are not equipped to deal with people, but enter the field anyway.
Some psychiatrists (the ones who do prescribe drugs), are also a little out of their minds--and often medicate unnecessarily (such as in children).
If one needs meds or therapy, one should feel free to change psychiatrists or psychologists. If one feels that he or she is trapped (because of medical coverage, or lack of money) to the bad therapist they have--they should file a complaint to their health care company--so they can go to a different therapist.
No one is forcing you to work with a psychologist or psychiatrist (unless you're under court order). I do believe psychiatrists are often much too quick to prescribe medications and I personally would be unlikely to seek help from a psychiatrist for this reason. The DSM is a joke as it does attempt to pathologize almost every human condition and emotion. Even so I believe working with a psychologist can be and often is very benefical. I'm thankful there are people willing and able to work with the kinds of people you mention . It beats the alternative of not even attempting to help and having them continue a destructive course unchecked which does happen quite frequently.
You are not forgetting what you never knew. Doctors have had great power in society. Just a few years back the Nazi doctors were allowed to send deformed and mental patients to death to clean up the race. The T-4 program was legal and done under the law.
man your cutting down doctors when your probably a drinker and pot head! don't judge a man until you've walked in his shoes!

take medical drugs
Let me just start by saying that this is false information.
"No one is ever "Cured" or finished."
Many people are cured (no need for quotation marks) of the things for which people seek mental health care ,and are finished with therapy. Some do have to continue with medication because they have a CHEMICAL IMBALANCE and NEED to have these drugs to live a somewhat normal life.
"They have no definitive answer for squat."
There is an entire book of definitive answers , it's called the diagnostic and statistical manual or DSM.
"They can find ( or create ) some underlying cause for every single thing you do or say."
They do not "create" any underlying causes for things, most things do stem from somewhere , be it brain chemistry , abuse , crappy parents , your own insecurities , well the list goes on and on .
"Some will say they have cured violent, mental patients and the patient is released!
They should be required to have the patient live with them for a year or so, see how often they claim to have cured a murderer or paedophile! "
Actually , many mental health experts feel that only a minimal percent of pedophiles can or will be cured , which is why they are on a watch list where their addresses are tracked as well as thier mandatory group meetings and parole. Pyschologists treat their patients on a daily or weekly basis so they see them often and with this type of patient, eg. murderer or pedifile usually for years , they are quite familiar with their patients.
So , no i don't agree with you , and most of the time these professionals drugs and opinions are sought out by the client and paid for , well paid. If the person is not voluntarily seeing someone then it is court ordered and they have done something that made the court feel like they needed help.
you obviously have never sufferered or known anyone who has truly suffered from a mental disorder such as mind draining depression, post partum psychosis or schizophrenia. doctors may be over prescribing pills in our fast fix society, but there is a definate need for it in many cases.
