(Girls Only) How to ease the pain of TOM?

Question:
Help me?! TOM (Time of Months) came around and my craps are SO bad I usally stay home from school because of them. My aunt has some condiction that made her's painful as well. I'm 13, and I NEED some home remedy that will help. Ideas?

Answers:
I get bad cramps too. There are several things that help. First, in the week before your period where you're craving stuff (if you're like me, chocolate, and lots of it), instead drink lots of water and try to cut down on your salt intake. Heating pads are good too, and so is taking a walk when you're cramping. Another thing that works, is taking a long bath. If nothing else, grab some Midol, take the maximum dosage for your age, and curl up in bed. When I've had them bad, that's all I can do.
Tea with honey helps also. Another thing you can do, is start to take Evening Primrose. It not only helps with PMS, but also works to prevent cramps, or at least lessen them each month.
If it wasn't for the fact that you're only 13, I'd recommend birth control. It regulates your period, making the flow lighter, and also controls cramps.
Hope some of this helps, good luck to you!

Try a warming pad, they help me a lot. Or resting and taking a hot bath, along with some ibuprofen. Hope this helps.

ok. drink tea, and place a hot water bottle where ur hurting at and if its really bad, in ur case it is take some midol and do some crunches a week before u get ur period.try to take a walk . dont keep still becasue the pain will elevate.

Exersize, this helps me a ton. also if you are having seriouse cramps you should discuss this with your mother and maybe have a visit to the dr.

seriously these both work orgasms and birth control

Use painkillers :)

Motrin

what really helps are pain killers or try to keep yourself very warm, stay under the covers with the heater on. Try to stay warm, take naps.
