I was taught a pressure point to massage when your cramping in your period. They're on the insides of your thighs more towards your knee. On the back of your legs right above your knees to. I found out how soar those pressure points are and when they're massaged it temporarily relieves your pains and it's soothing. My fitness management teacher taught us pressure points in high school and that one I have most definetly have not forgotton.
There's also PMS vitamins that you can take to help reduce your PMS symptoms like cramps and bloating and things like that.

Take motrin or advil as soon as possible. At the start of the pain is best, but right now, go-- take 4 200mg caplets with a big glass of water. You can do this every 8 hours for a couple of days but not much more than that. Then find a heating pad and cuddle it up to your poor tummy. Stay warm, keep your feet warm, see if someone can rub your lower back for you. Poor darling. It can stink being a girl. It will get better in your 20s, I promise.
Not everyone is the same. As a matter of fact mine seems to vary every month. Try taking Ibuprophen BEFORE your period starts. And continue as needed throughout your period. This medication works best that way. I also like to use a heating pad when my cramps are bad or you can buy ThermaCare heat wraps. I love these things! they are adhesive.you attatch them to your panties and they warm your belly. I use them at night when my cramps are bad and sleep like a baby. A hot bath helps too. If you have bad cramps all the time you might want to talk to your doctor. You could have endometriosis.

Most girls do not experience severe pain. Occasional cramping is common, but severe pain should be addressed by your doctor. You may have a problem.
I'm 29 and thank God I've never had cramps. I only get a little bloated the day before and I don't get cranky. My periods last only 3-4 days. I've never taken birth control.just lucky I guess.
Some women do, others don't. I have menoraghia (extremely heavy periods) and the cramps I get are often so bad I end up housebound. I always turn to Pamprin for cramp relief.
my daughter would hurt so bad during her menses, she would throw up, she was in extreme pain, she takes birth control pills now, and no longer hurts so bad, I think it had something to do with hormones, see a doctor.
no not all girls get pain, but i do and i use a heating pad on my stomach or take some ibuprofen. Good Luck!
Not every girl has the same amount of pain. Although I don't hurt as much as I did during my teenage years, I still can feel pretty sick depending upon my exercise, diet and sexual habits during the past month.
For temporary relief, try the pain reliever Naproxen. You can find it in Alleve and other over-the-counter drugs. It's the ONLY thing that's every worked for me.
I've also found that exercising and eating better also tend to decrease pain. If you are in a safe, sexual relationship, try having intercourse before or during. It can really relax the muscles. If not, pleasuring yourself can also help.
