is themisilk a good hair product and does it really get rid of split ends and makes it healther?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, Thermasilk is a good hair product. It has a wonderful conditioner that will make your hair soft & shiny. I have tried many and it is one of the best. I use it for my 9yo daughter too to get her hair nice and smooth and tangle free.

No, it won't get rid of split ends or make it healthier. There is NO hair product that gets rid of split ends. The only way to get rid of split ends is to get them cut off.

Third point: I do believe that using a good product/conditioner like thermasilk can PREVENT split ends.

Didn't work that well for me. Sorry

This might sound crazy but Mane and Tail is a good shampoo and conditioner. Yes it's for horses but hell my hair has never been softer or stronger.

NO.

If your on a tight budget buy tresemme. other than that go to a salon. Most shampoos that you buy from a department store contain a lot of alcohol, which dries out hair tremendously. Hope this helps!!

Nothing will get rid of split ends except a hair cut

my grandmother used a old remedy, after cleansing rinse with warm water squeeze out excess water. apply 2 tbs. virgin olive oil, comb through to the ends. apply a hot wet towel for 10 minutes. remove and style as usual. this will keep you hair shinning and healthy .repeat every week.

she learned this from her great grand mother whom was from Italy.

no it does not. therma silk will make your hair feel soft and silky but it is just putting a wax buildup on your hair.if you are wanting to get rid of split ends you need to trim your hair @ least every 3-4 weeks depending on the length because if you don't those split ends will continue to split and damage more of your hair strand splitting it on up toward the root of the hair.you can trim and get a protein treatment to seal the bonds back together.I am a licensed cosmetologist.Feel free to ask me anything else.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING "gets rid" of split ends. Once you have them, you can't do anything but to trim them off to prevent them from splitting further up the hair shaft and doing major irreparable damage.

You can, however, prevent spilt ends by using professional products. Paul Mitchell (only in salons) makes great products that are very affordable. Ask a stylist at a salon which products will be good for your hair type and styling habits. Always use conditioner! You need to take care of your hair, which may mean spending a few extra dollars, if you want to keep it healthy. Products you buy at the grocery or drug store just aren't good enough. Good Luck!

it's all right. but the really good one is biolage, i used to have really dry hair that would break and i had a lot of split ends because i dy my hair. but ever since i started using biolage my hair is super healthy and shiny. my hairstylist is amazed to see the results i love my hair its so soft and long.

Honesty, I would invest in a better product. Many products that you can buy at a grocery store actualy damages your hair more than you think.

This is what I use. I use Biologe. Its wonderful. But shampoo isn't the only thing your hair needs. I also use Matrix Iron smoother, when I use a flat iron to straighten my hair. Then afterwards I use Biosilk.

When using the good products, you really can have a great head of hair.

I hate Thermasilk products.
For the record, nothing actually "gets rid" of split ends with the exception of actually having your hair cut. Your best bet is to get a trim and then prevent split ends by being careful with styling products and tools, not using too much heat when you blowdry your hair, and protecting your hair from the sun, chlorine and salt water.

Did you know that the active cleansing agent in most of the over the counter haircare products (found at walmart, kmart, grocery stores, etc) contain the same active cleansing agent as mop and glow? Yeah, you're best bet is to use Redken Extreme line including Shampoo, Conditioner, and a leave in called Anti-Snap. What the anti snap does is goes in and smooths the spits together, preventing it from splitting more.
