Anyone been treated with high-dose antibiotics for Fibromyalgia?

Question:
Hi-dose antibiotics aren't working for me. I have Mycoplasma and Chlamydia Pneumonias (at a "cellular/cryptic" level), Candidiasis and Epstien-Barr Virus. My blood level (titers) have gotten worse, even after a 3-month treatment with Zithromax, Valtrex and Diflucan. I've been having alot of pain and stiffness and am very sick/dysfunctional. Currently being treated at a specialty center for Fibro and Fatigue. This is causing me much emotional and financial stress. Suppose I should see an Infectious Disease specialist? If so, any suggestions on a physician of that type in the Akron, Ohio area?

Answers:
Yes, I was diagnosed with Mycoplasma a month ago. Severe pain all over. Thought I had MS but was not the case. My Dr. put me on Doxycycline for 3 weeks. I'm 100% better now. Ask specifically for this medication b4 you see a specialist. Chances are you'll feel better.I did!

Other Answers:
if you're unsure about the treatment, get another doc's opinion, too

If I were you, I would go to see a naturopathic doctor. They can help you with a lot of your problems by modifying your diet, vitamins and supplements. Although these things are not cheap, I am pretty sure it is not as expensive as doctors visits all of the time, so check it out! Here is a list of natural practitioners in Akron.

have you been tested for HCV? i'd get checked if you havent already.i did test positive for it and many others also have a high turn out for fibro when they have hcv.
hcv resides in every tissue of the body.
interferon, ribavirin and sometims amantadine work, but for not all genotypes of hcv.
