What can cause bleeding gums besides gingivitis?
Question:
Answers:
I read recently a similar description from someone who said that it all cleared up after his wife started serving them thin sliced onions with a little salad vinegar 2-3 times a week and adding fresh garlic to soups and stews. This might sound a little strange until you consider that the onions, garlic and vinegar are all naturally anti-biotic. In World War I and II military doctors used garlic juice as an anti-biotic (with terrific results) when other anti-biotics were not available. They knew to do this from study of history. It has been used thusly for centuries.

Check the type of toothbrush and how hard you brush.
Even brushing isn't enough. YOU HAVE TO FLOSS.
Assuming you floss (hahahahh) it could be mechanical damage from brushing too hard.
But I'll bet you you DON'T floss. Try it and see, after a good brushing, what you pull off with floss. Amazing.
Floss every night, I mean EVERY DARN NIGHT, not just Mondays and alternate Tuesdays, and follow with a good mouthwash. If your gums don't stop bleeding in a week or so, see a dentist.
have u tried using sensodyne.u might have really sensitive teeth and gums..i do
Maybe you are flossing wrong.
My dentist told me to brush with an electric toothbrush because i brush my teeth too hard (even with a soft bristle).
don't brush really hard, because that will aggrivate your gums. also you may want to swich to a different kind of toothbrush; personally, I don't like the kinds with longerbristles on the outside that supposedly"clean along the gumline" because they tend to just irritate my gums.
another thing could be periodontitis which is advanced gingivitis & has bone loss. the best thing for you to do is see your dentist, brush your teeth at the gum margin with a SOFT toothbrush, floss daily, watch your diet (for example if u eat sweets eat them after a meal)& if u smoke try stop coz smoking can help cause gum disease.
hope this helps
