Will cracking ur knuckles give u arthritis?

Question:

Answers:
Nobody knows.. but look at it this way.
smoking can't be linked to cancer.
What I'm trying to say is it's not what your hands were designed for.
If you do it just to impress people, once a month or so, then no probs but if you do it every second every day, then stop.

Other Answers:
No, there is no evidence that it will. There's no real evidence that it does anything really, as far as I know.

no not at all

of course NOT u DUMB DUM!!

snopes.com has an article about this myth.

No

i think it does. i have been cracking my knuckles since the first time i did it and i do it 3x a day. sometimes my knuckles hurt, and i think it is arthritis.

not only it gives you arthritis, it also makes your hand look ugly. your knuckles gets bigger, and if youre a girl, then your hand wouldnt look dainty. and the skin around the knuckle will darken. ugh

YES, it will! I am only 28 and I am already experiencing arthritic pain in my hands/fingers. My Chiropractor told me that if you crack your knuckles by forming a fist and pushing down on them (this is the way I did it for years), you can cause permanent damage and increase your chances of having debilitating arthritis later in life. He also told me that you should pull straight out on your fingers to pop your knuckles . . .

I've heard that this weakens your knuckles and it can cause arthritis, but I'm no doctor, so don't take it from me. I used to do it a lot and after a while my fingers started hurting very badly and it felt like arthritis pain, I stopped right away.
