Here are some natural remedies that you can try:
- Taking cayenne inside the nose helps to open up the blood vessels. This enables the blood to get nutrients to all parts of the brain. Warning - this can burn a bit, so keep the grains of cayenne down to as few as possible.
- Taking 500 mg of magnesium per day
- Increasing your water intake to 8-10 glasses per day can be helpful.
- Eliminating ALL animal fat the week before menstruation (skim milk, non-fat yogurt ok), and adding evening primrose oil to her diet.

ALSO many migraine medications are safe for breastfeeding moms, including Imitrex. Check out this link for more information: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/migraine-meds.html

do you really eat like you should?

What are the siddha treatments available for psoriasis?

In addition to what EmmaBella said, print out the information from kellymom to take to your doctor. Then suggest he/she get a copy of Medication and Mother's Milk by Dr. Thomas Hale. This book gives really good information on the safety of medications for lactating moms, not just the standard warnings issued by pharmacuetical companies afraid of being sued. Good luck and keep nursing!
