Do you sleep with your contacts in?
My husband does, and says it's not a problem, but I make my daughter take hers out every night.
I recently got glasses, for reading, so I don't have an opinion, yet. What do you do?
If I have an yeast infection can my partner have it also?
Answers:
It very much depends on the type of lenses you wear (there are several different materials on the market) and what your doctor prescribed. Sleeping in certain lens materials is very bad for your eyes as it keeps your eyes from getting oxygen. Other lens materials are approved for up to 30 days and nights of continuous wear. Ultimately, it depends on what your eye doctor tells you to do. Some people are not able to (and should not) sleep in any contact lens material.
