you shouldnt smoke for around 5-7 days. my dentist told me that if i "had" to smoke then cover the holes with wet gauze. I still got a dry socket which is wrose than childbirth to me. it wont really matter. ur wisdom teeth will grow like it will. no matter if u smoke and drink or not.We recommend that you wait 48 hours after having teeth extracted before you smoke or drink. This helps prevent dry sockets.which suck
