I understand very well what you're going through. Even if things seem hopeless at the moment, try to remember it is only temporary. Are you on meds at this time? if so, they may need longer to take effect or may need adjusting. Are you in therapy? Pls talk to your dr and let him know how your feeling. Just has long as you stay on your meds it shouldn't be to bad although the side effects can be unpleasent at times hence why so many bipolar suffers don't take them.

Yes you can get better. It can't be cured but you can get better. I've been diagnosed with bipolar for about 10 years now and a lot of bad stuff happened but I stayed motivated to get better and after going through a half a dozen different types of mood stabilizers I finally got better. It's a lot of hard work and patience but yes you can get better.
