common supplements that are medically proven to boost the nitric oxide levels in your bloodstream?

Not true. Type 1 diabetes does have an hereditary component to it (diabetes runs in families).

Type 1 diabetes is usually a progressive autoimmune disease, in which the beta cells that produce insulin are slowly destroyed by the body's own immune system. It is unknown what first starts this cascade of immune events, but evidence suggests that both a genetic predisposition and environmental factors, such as a viral infection, are involved.

There can be non-hereditary causes for type 1 diabetes; some diseases may destroy the pancreatic cells that produce insulin.

i have quit smoking for a week now yes !.?

No you have it backwards. Type 2 is not genetic. Type 1 is.

Type 1 is also called juvenille diabetes, its called that because it comes on when you are a child and you have it basically forever. You are born with the gene.

Type 2 is called Adult Onset Diabetes and its diabetes that you have sometime during your adult life. Unfortunately many youth are showing symptoms because the American standard diet is horrible. It is acquired through lifestyle characteristics and environmental factors.
