Has anyone ever noticed?

Question:
How come all the weight and diet commercials show all these models that used to be fat but now their really skinny and at the very bottom of the screen in real tiny letters it says "results not typical"? If they want to sell something shouldn't they tell people that it works the way they say it does?

Answers:
If the testimonials are not real, the companies can get shut down for fraudulent advertising. The models are supposed to be real.

Answer to question: It takes a lot of hard work and dedication in addition to the infomercial product for the product to work. These companies know that it is not typical for the general public to put in the required effort. They want to sell the product without getting sued for lack of positive results.

Other Answers:
Yeah, I have. Yeah they should! What they are doing is like fake advertising.

that is soooooooo right.

it just proves you should always read the fine print.

IMO im not sure if those people ever were fat..

i dont trust anything that says like lose 30 pounds in 30 days or eat what you want and dont excersise and take this pill..

i have lost 30 pounds but it has taken me 4 months of cutting salt, fat, sugar and loads of working out .. though still have about 100 to go.. but i am doing it on my own no pills, patches, formula's etc..

They also say they work when combined with a sensible diet and exercise program. Some of them also add that their product isn't evaluated by the FDA and does not treat or prevent any disease or condition! Isn't being overweight either a condition or a disease, depending on how overweight you are?

Also, a lot of those before and after pictures are different lighting, pose, skin color (they're always tanner in the 2nd photo). I want to see the person in the same clothes and hairstyle, standing the same way against the same background in both pictures. Never happens.

It is totally bogus, false advertising. These companies get sued all the time, and then just reopen with a new name and the same old fake product which only shrinks your wallet, not your waistline.
