No white potatoes, no white flour, no white sugar, no grains at all, unless they are whole grains such as protein rich brown rice. to loose weight one shud do exercise and plus diet control.means avoid deep fried, sweets , desserts ..loosing weight only by diet makes u dull even there is no glow on ur face ..better reduce by exercise..walkin, tennis, swimming, cycling are best exercise.
The first thing I would recommend doing is getting outside and being active. Go outside and walk. the first week try 30 minutes. this is power walking not a stroll. The first walk will be easy the second will be harder but eventually this will become habit. However, it takes forever for the habit to form. And the habit can be broken in a heart beat. The second week, try to walk for 45 minutes. When you can get up to an hour of walking 4 times a week you will be doing good.
Someone once recommended when grocery shopping only buy things around the edges. This is where the unprocessed foods were. Fresh fruit and veggies, meat, and dairy. Not bad advice. when you go shopping don't look for the closest parking spot. park away from the door. then you will have to walk and it's a good way to sneak in a little excersize.
