how do you get pregnant after a rt. oopherectomy & a left salpingoectomy?
Question:
Answers:
You can still get pregnant with only one fallopian tube as long as you still have at least one ovary and still ovulate. You may want to consult with a skilled reproductive endocrinologist to assist with IVF protocols as necessary and to monitor your risk for ectopic pregnancy (which you are at risk of because your remaining ovary is opposite the remaining tube) and/or other complications. Don't give up hope, good luck!
Other Answers:
you have sex
Fallopian tubes can "travel" to pick up an egg from the opposite ovary on occasion.
Otherwise, a likely course of treatment would include IVF.
