.HELP! I can't sleep!?
Question:
Answers:
This is going to sound strange but it works. Take OTC Benadryl. Doctors are now recommending it for sleeping problems. It's also non-addictive. It will work great!
Other Answers:
No ideas as to why, but you could go to the doc and get a prescription for Ambien. It works great!
think just one thing while gonna sleep
Probably because your stressed and your mind is working overtime. I would see the doctor and get some sleeping pills, or maybe try taking Tylenol PM. Don't take them everynight though or you'll get addicted! Now GO TO SLEEP! lol
u can read when u cant sleep then u r gonna fall asleep..
or go to Dr,
i get like that sometimes and i become 'too tired' to sleep.
if you have had sleeping problems for more than three/four nights i would suggest going to a doctor.
Try taking sleeping pills. but not too many you may die that way
have you been drinking pop and or coffee even 4-6 hours before going to bed? doing this or even eating certain things can keep your body "revved up" and prevent you from falling asleep.
Maybe you worry too much. Now maybe you are more worried thinking that you can't sleep.
- Relax.
- Take long walks during the day time.
- Eat healthy.
- Avoid coffee/tea.
you are probably stressed about something. it is almost 5 in the morning here and i am still awake. at night when it is quiet is when most people think about their lives and problems. good luck and i hope you sleep tight
It might be that something isbothering your mind, try to get some counseling.
try sleeping underwater
drink milk, have a hot bath b4 you sleep and have a good read.
are you worried about something?
try setting your self a relaxed atmosphere. make sure your bedrooms nice an quiet, not too hot or cold, have a relaxing bath/shower before bed. don't eat too much before bed, if you are worried try writing your thoughts down, some times this helps them clear out of your head..
have a hot milky drink.
and if you don't fall asleep, don't lie tossing and turning, get up and leave the room for a while, try reading or some relaxation exercises!
EVERYBODY SING!
Lullabye
And good night
Go to SLEEP our little youqa.com PERSON.
try taking a and alcohol drink and watch a movie, that should relax you a bit, or try lissening to some music(calm music) you might just be stressed out about something.. or find a job if you don't have one, that should get you realy tired. Try that and get back to me if any of this things work, now can you please answer my questions?
Do you have extra worries?
Are you spending more time watching television or on the computer, especially late at night?
Are you drinking soda, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, expecially later in the day?
Any of those things can keep you awake. Try a little exercise early in your day and avoid caffeine. Also, watch less TV or computer, especially in the 3 hours before bedtime. Also, you can talk out your worries with someone you love.
Good luck!
it s about stress. find out what is making you so confused. when you solve the problem you ll sleep like you used to. but one more explanation is the season. while spring comes this semptoms are very ofen and good news is they are temporary.
I would try all the 'natural' methods of trying to sleep as listed out above by all the other contributors, FIRST, and avoid as much as possible having to see the doctor to get sleeping pills. Natural is best. And oh yeah, read something utterly boring.

Am a doctor's wife.
try goin to the doctor
or sleeping pills
based on my experiencce you have the most active brain, you think all the time. dont sleep during the day, dont drink beverages w/ caffien, exercise, sleeping pills help but! they also help in making you depressed, you cut your wrist and die (its true).
tink abt nice things dat has happened 2 u.
I use Tylenol PM. (or a cheaper generic brand). They all work
It works GREAT and are non addictive. Ofcourse, a person can become psychologicaly dependant on them but if you stop taking them, even abruptly, you won't have withdrawels from them, like you do with so many prescription only sleeping aids. Benadryl works well too but can sometimes leave you with a negative side affect.(nervousness).
I've been taking them for 10 years and there were times, I didn't have any for several days and I felt fine.
Gees, that's terrible! OK. That is called over exhaustion- sometimes your regime is bad and you're exhausted so much (in weeks and months) that your reach that point when you are to tired even to sleep. It's not that i've just read about it but i've had it too. So:
1. If you work/study or what you do in the daytime is mostly intellectual, you need some excercising too. Swimming or going to the gym will do great (but not after 17h- it could excite you)
2. no Tv before going to sleep. Read a book or smth else.
3.take a bath with nice smelling foam (lavander for example:) before going to sleep.
4. change your stereotipe for a couple of days (vacation)
Is something bothering you? Don't let the avalanche of thoughts take over - think of something really nice, a happy day in details or what the house, trip or smth else of your dreams would be like.
It might sound funny, but take vitamins too. Especially the vitamins of the B group (B6, B12.)- they are like food for the nerves.
Sweet dreams! :")
something is bothering you or worrying you and until you deal with whats on your mind you'll continue to be young and restless.
