Does sunscreen really work or does it block some out of the UV rays and let others go deeper into the skin?

sunscreen does work but it has to be applied regularly while in the sun and in and out of the water. remember the saying. slip, slop, slap. slip on a shirt, slop on suncreen and slap on a hat. dont just rely on sunscreen alone for sun protection.
