Sounds more like influenza.
The very best thing you can do for the pain in your bones, is to take Advil. Also, any generic Ibuprofen will work. NOT Tylenol(aspirin).that's good to reduce fevers. It's safe to take up to 800 miligrams of Ibuprofen at a time.

Have some whisky chickensoup and take rest and simply cover yourself in a blanket and sweat like hell your cold would be gone for ever.
