Conair has a good flat iron. I have super curly hair and I did not have to use any product to get it straight with that iron. Use one with a numbered temperature control. Gold N Hot is good, too. Conair is cheaper and just as good.
I use a little oil in my hair to keep it from looking dry.
Wrapping your hair and securing with a scarf overnight will keep your straight hair looking nice.
