First, check with an audiologist to make sure it is not being caused by wax buildup or an infection.
If your ears are fine, I remember William Shatner talking about a way of teaching your brain to mask it by reproducing the ringing via an ear device. When removed, you mind has been programmed to shut it out. It is not gone, however, the mind is trying to adapt.
I am having terrible ringing right now. My audiologist appt. is next month. I am hoping it is an infection.
