Reasons why foot nails die?

Ick! that last response was greusome. I've heard that the fungus fighting properties in plain white vinegar will deter foot/nail fungus. The pill treatment is really expensive. Coconut oil will also deter fungal growths. Stay ahead of it one way or another.

there is a simple fungus that can grow under it, and it makes them die every couple months. There are pills to take to fight this fungus, but they have been linked with liver problems

Fungus Amungyou is the technical term :) Fungus is to blame for that problem. See a doctor. He/she can prescribe for anti-fungal pills and/or creams to help. I had a friend that had a bad fungal infection and it went into his blood stream to his shin and started eating a hole form the inside. It was nasty
