Feeling sick when hungry?
Question:
i have had IBS for 2 years now but this has never been one of the symptoms for me before. I am sure i am not pregnant so i have no idea what it could be or whats causing it.
Any ideas?
Answers:
You could have problems with sugar. Are you also thirsty more often?
Get to a doctor and have the appropriate blood tests done.
Until then, maybe you could try eating several small meals during the day.
Limit your simple carbs, and eat healthier until you can get checked. Wait, just eat healthier!
If you know anyone who has diabetes, you might ask them to do a finger prick, using their glucose meter. Of course, this is not an alternative to going to the doctor, but that person could give you some insights, until you can get in.
Don't delay if your symptoms are not going away. Get in to see a health care professional.

My former boss had really bad diabetes and she would always feel sick when she was hungry.
I agree with the previous guy. You might have blood sugar level issues.
Just eat regularly. It might be stress related symptoms or something like that. I don't suffer from IBS, so I don't really know how to help you. But, I would go check out like wedmd.com or something, because I can find like every sickness under the sun on there. I say just eat regularly and try to reduce stress a little bit. If symptoms persist, consult a physician or your doctor, because it could be serious. Hope this helps and get well soon!
Have your medical doctor do an A1c check. You could be diabetic or the other end of the glycemic scale. Both conditions can cause nausea when hungry.
I truly feel for you friend. I also suffer from IBS and when my dr. finally did do a stomach scope on me I found out the surprising news that I had over 2 dozen stomach ulcers along with H pylory. Your symptoms sound ALOT like what I went thru. ask your dr. about H pylorie- it goes hand in hand with IBS and c-diff. Been there- had them all and its an awful way to live day to day. It can be treated with medication. Good Luck
Possibly low blood sugar or the early stages of cold or flu.
This happens to me all the time. I always bring snacks with me and will munch on them a little at a time so i won't feel sick. If i feel sick i'll eat a little food and won't eat anything else til i feel better and then i will eat more. This works for me.
